National Accounts / GPO Executive JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you an experienced Corporate Accounts Executive who has worked with health systems such as GPOs/IDNs and aggregation groups and still want to contribute meaningfully by leveraging your relationships, insight, and experience to help bring innovative medical products to market?

Excelerant Consulting is expanding our consultant network. We’re a highly skilled team of consultants who support medical device and healthcare companies in securing GPO and IDN contracts that drive product adoption and improve care. We're seeking a GPO/IDN Contracting Consultant who has the proven ability to win contracts with a deep understanding of the players, processes, and politics involved in hospital purchasing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a strategic commercial advisor to clients seeking GPO and IDN contracts

  • Leverage your trusted relationships with major GPOs (Premier, Vizient, HealthTrust, etc.) and IDNs to drive access and guide clients through complex contracting and evaluation processes

  • Lead GPO and IDN contract strategy development, Value Analysis Committee preparation, RFP / RFI submissions, and implementation roadmaps with client team 

  • Create and implement an integrated sales strategy to include field sales teams and pricing guidance

  • Work in collaboration with our internal resources and ecosystem partners to deliver pre-market services to offer a full range of commercialization services

What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrated, long-term success securing national and regional GPO/IDN contracts for healthcare or medical device companies

  • Strong relationships within health system supply chain and contracting organizations

  • Familiarity with VAC processes, contract administration, and field sales execution 

  • A collaborative, mission-aligned mindset driven by the desire to improve care, not just close deals
