Wendell’s vast experience of over 30 years in healthcare includes leadership roles in business development, customer marketing, licensing, national accounts, customer insights, revenue generation, contract management, strategic pricing, and product launches.
His primary focus at Excelerant is working with clients to improve their commercial strategies and expand market access. Like all Excelerant consultants, Wendell has a diverse background working with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN) on behalf of multi-billion dollar corporations, as well as early and pre-commercial phase healthcare suppliers.
Most recently, Wendell served as Global Vice President of Sales at Envista/Metrex which provides infection-protection solutions across medical and dental channels. He took his division from a -20% decline to a +7% growth in one year. He has also worked with Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Covidien, Danone, Hologic, and ZimmerBiomet.
Wendell’s comprehensive experience in healthcare and the medical device sector enables him to guide Excelerant clients through go-to-market challenges and accelerate the journey to product adoption, sales growth, and profitability.
